The Power of Our Wind

By using the wind off the Lammermuir Hills instead of fossil fuels, our three local wind farms achieve the following impacts every single year:

Fossil Fuels Saved

61,000 Tonnes

≈ 3,000 truckloads of coal

Carbon Prevented

75,000 Tonnes

Of CO2 emissions avoided

Homes Powered

49,800 Homes

Equivalent annual usage

To achieve this same result, we would need to grow a forest of 1.2 million trees for 10 years.
